Please note that direct primary care (DPC) is not a health insurance plan. The practice is self-pay and does not bill insurance companies, however, if using DPC in addition to health insurance, we can provide you with an itemized superbill that you can submit to your insurance company.

Membership does not cover imaging (xrays or CT scans, and MRI's), specialist care or catastrophic events, such as ER visits, surgeries, and hospitalizations.

In addition to your DPC membership, we encourage our members to carry a low premium catastrophic health insurance plan for such emergencies.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes life happens, and you may need to step away from the practice for a little while.
Cancellation of any plan simply requires a 30-day notice, and payments are discontinued on the due date of next billing cycle.
Refunds may be issued to prepaid annual memberships with a 30-day advance notice of cancellation.
Fees shall be refunded by the patient within 30 days of termination.
Re-enrollment after discontinuing services requires an additional $100 re-enrollment administrative fee, if space on patient panel is still available.

At NEHW, we believe that everyone deserves access to exceptional personalized medical care at an affordable price and we are committed to delivering that to you. We also understand that everyone is different and as such has different health needs, that is why we offer different plans for your convenience.

All plans include a one annual visit with basic labs, unlimited sick and chronic visits whether telehealth or in office. It is recommended that all patients have health insurance (and/or possibly a Health Savings Account) to cover any hospitalizations or services that cannot be covered in our DPC such as ER visits, hospitalizations and specialist visits that we cannot provide. Many HSAs will reimburse you for the cost of the program membership as well. We can refer for other specialist services and prescribe medications if your insurance type is not an HMO.
